We’ re hiring a Remote Verifications Specialists for our client, a credit reporting agency, located in Greensboro! This Temp-to-Hire opportunity, offers a pay rate of $12.00 per hour, and has a 1st shift working schedule. The Verifications Specialist  be responsible for  performing reference and background checks on applicants. Candidates for this position will work from home and require  knowledge  interpreting various background screening reports and the applicable Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to background reports. – Perform reference and background checks on applicants
–  Use investigative skills to locate and procure data from external sources
–  Use computers and computer system to secure information, accurately enter data and process information
–  Compile and prepare information or data in a timely manner as dictated by management
–  Communicate with people outside the organization regarding reference and background information
–  Receive information from both internal and external sources
–  Evaluate information to determine if procedural requirements have been satisfied
–  Maintain a familiarity with customer needs and quality standards
–  Maintain accurate and up to date records, reports and files
–  Display a positive disposition over the phone with attention to exceeding customer expectations and being in a positive contributing member of the team
–  Actively listen to and understand information presented and verbally convey information to other parties in such a manner that they can understand it
–  Determine the extent to which a reference should be pursued in various stages of the overall process
–  Responsibly for being reliable in fulfilling customer service needs
–  Accommodate the needs of both customers and the team as deemed by management
–  Maintain strong interpersonal skills at all times
–  Maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information that may be exposed during course of work
–  Be flexible with work hours and work flow
–  Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and any other procedural processes of the Company to include, but not limited to; Attendance, Code of Conduct and etc
–  Any other special projects, tasks, or duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
